From what age can kids start?

From age 6, starting with the Digital Literacy module. Kids don't need to know how to read to begin, because the first module is built around visual games. From there we have learning paths for every age up to 17, all taught as live online classes with a real teacher. The free trial class also works as a diagnostic, so we can place your child at the right level from the start.

Do they need prior coding experience?

No, they don't need any prior experience. The Digital Literacy and Scratch modules are designed for complete beginners, so kids can start from zero. If your child already has some experience, the free trial class works as a diagnostic to place them at the right level. Classes are live and online with a real teacher, who stays with your child throughout the whole course.

How are the classes formatted?

They're live online classes with a real teacher. There are two formats: 1-on-1 individual sessions of 60 minutes, 1 to 3 times per week, or a mini-group of 4 students for 90 minutes, once a week. In both cases the same teacher is assigned for the whole course, giving real continuity. Each module ends with a real project that your child presents.

What do they need to take the classes?

Just a computer or tablet, an internet connection, and 90 quiet minutes for the class. There's no software to install to get started, because we work directly in the browser. Classes are live and online with a real teacher, and the exercises and projects stay on the Algonova platform with 24/7 access, so your child can review them anytime.

Can I pause the course if we travel?

Yes, you can pause the course for up to 3 months without losing your spot or your paid classes. If you travel or simply need a break, your child picks up right where they left off, with the same teacher. For 1-on-1 classes there's also free cancellation up to 24 hours before the lesson, and in every format you get a full refund for any unused classes.

Is there a certificate at the end?

Yes, there's a certificate at the end of the course. Each module wraps up with a real project that your child presents, so learning is shown through concrete results. When the course is complete, they receive an Algonova certificate and a digital portfolio with all their projects. That portfolio stays on the platform and is a great way to show everything they built throughout the program.
