FAQ
Coding classes at Algonova start from US$7 per lesson; the 1-on-1 private plan has a custom price based on your child's age and goals, so just write to us to find out. There are three formats: 1-on-1 private, a mini-group of 2 to 4 kids, and a group of up to 10 students of similar age, which keeps the cost per lesson lower, while the private plan gives you a dedicated teacher and a flexible schedule. The first trial class, a full 60-minute live session, is completely free, so you can judge the teaching quality before paying anything. No card is required to book the trial and there is no obligation to continue. You only pay when you choose a plan that fits, and you can switch formats as your child moves through the curriculum for ages 6 to 17.
Yes, the first trial class at Algonova is completely free, with no card and no commitment to continue. Your child joins a live 60-minute session with a certified teacher — not a recorded video or a sales call. During the trial the teacher guides your child through a real, age-appropriate activity, so you can see the teaching style and how your child responds before deciding. The free trial class also helps the teacher assess your child's current level and place them in the right group and curriculum stage afterwards. Many families use it as a low-risk way to compare Algonova with other coding schools. If it turns out not to be a fit, you simply don't continue and nothing is charged. To book it, you fill in a short form and our team contacts you on WhatsApp to agree a time.
Algonova coding classes are designed for children aged 6 to 17, with a progressive curriculum that changes as your child grows. Kids aged 6 to 9 start with digital literacy and Scratch, visual block-based coding that builds logic through games and animations, with no need to read complex text. Around ages 10 to 13, students move on to Roblox and their first steps in Python, creating their own interactive games and learning key concepts such as loops, variables and events. Teens aged 14 to 17 advance to Python Pro and web development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, working on real apps and websites. Because classes are grouped by age and level, a 7-year-old and a 15-year-old are never in the same session. The free trial class helps the teacher confirm the right starting point.
The main difference is group size and price: the group class brings together 2 to 4 students in a mini-group or up to 10 in a group, all of similar age, and starts from US$7 per lesson, while the 1-on-1 private class gives your child a dedicated teacher at a custom price. In a group class your child learns alongside peers, which many kids find motivating, on a fixed weekly schedule. The private class offers a flexible schedule you choose and a fully individual pace — ideal for kids who want to move faster, need more attention or have a busy agenda. All formats use the same progressive curriculum for ages 6 to 17, the same live certified teachers and the same real projects such as games, apps and websites. You can start with one format and switch later. The first trial class is free in every case.
Yes, all Algonova classes are fully online and taught by a certified teacher live and in real time — not pre-recorded videos or an automated app. Your child joins from home using a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection; a webcam and microphone help interaction with the teacher, but the setup is simple. Because the teacher is live, they adapt the pace to your child, answer questions instantly and give feedback on the project as it is built during the 90-minute session. Group classes keep numbers small — 2 to 4 students in a mini-group and up to 10 in a group — so every child gets attention, while private classes are one-to-one. Being online, your child can learn from anywhere in the region without travelling, and you can watch part of the class. The first live class is free.
Yes, kids who have never written a single line of code can join Algonova — in fact most students start from zero. The curriculum is built for complete beginners: children aged 6 to 9 start with digital literacy and visual block-based coding, so they learn logic by dragging blocks instead of typing, while older beginners start with Scratch or age-appropriate projects before moving on to Roblox, Python and web development. The teacher always starts with the basics for your child's age and never assumes prior experience. The free trial class plays an important role here, because it lets the teacher see how your child thinks and place them at a comfortable starting level, without rushing. Classes are grouped by age and level, so a beginner isn't mixed in with experienced kids. Parents don't need to know how to code to support their child.
To sign up for the free trial class, fill in the short form on this page with your child's age and a couple of times that work for your family. Our team then contacts you on WhatsApp, usually shortly after, to confirm a time and send the class link — the whole process takes just a few minutes. No card or payment is needed to book the trial, and there's no obligation to continue afterwards. On the day of the class, your child joins a live 60-minute session with a certified teacher and works on a real, age-appropriate activity. After the class, you decide whether to choose a private, mini-group or group plan, and if it isn't the right fit, you simply don't continue. Families across the region and in 97 countries use this same free trial class to get to know Algonova before paying.
