Roblox Studio and Python Start — From 3D to real code
Two sequential courses for kids and preteens ages 10 to 13: Roblox Studio + Lua (10–11) and Python Start (12–13). They learn by building real video games and projects on GitHub. No prior experience. Free trial class — no card, no commitment.
No theory memorization. From day one your child writes real code, builds projects in Roblox Studio and Python, and watches their ideas come to life. Theory shows up only when needed.

How it works
From the free class to a real project
Every step is designed so your child moves forward with confidence, no pressure, at their own pace.
01
Free trial class (60 min)
Your child meets the teacher, builds their first mini-project in Roblox Studio or Python, and discovers which course fits them best. No card, no commitment.
02
Diagnosis and personal plan
After the class we share which course and format best fit your child's age, experience, and interests: 1-on-1 individual or mini-group of 4.
03
Learn on your path
Your child moves through the modules at their own pace. The Algonova platform offers 24/7 access, auto-review, and real portfolio projects.
04
Real projects and certificates
At the end of each module, your child presents a real project. At the end of the course they receive an Algonova certificate and a digital portfolio with all their work.

Roblox Studio + Lua
6 modules · 32–36 classes
Your child designs interactive 3D games in Roblox Studio and learns their first real concepts of object-oriented programming with Lua. By the end they have a publishable video game and a solid foundation for Python.
First real text-based language — Python in Visual Studio Code, with first portfolio on GitHub. Your child builds real video games and apps while learning syntax, data structures, and programming logic.
Rodrigo has been in Roblox Studio for 2 months and already designed his first 3D world. What surprised me is that along the way he learned real object-oriented programming concepts. The teacher guided him step by step.

Camila started with Roblox and is now in Python Start. Seeing her write her first scripts in Visual Studio Code is incredible. She already has her first GitHub repo with real projects.

Diego finished Roblox Studio and moved straight to Python. The transition felt very natural — the concepts he learned with Lua apply directly in Python. The program is very well structured.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What do they learn in Roblox Studio + Lua (ages 10–11)?
In Roblox Studio + Lua (ages 10–11) kids design interactive 3D worlds and learn object-oriented programming using Lua, all inside Roblox Studio. By the end of the course they have a working 3D video game and the conceptual foundation needed to move on to Python. Classes are live online with a real teacher, and the same teacher stays with the child throughout. The free trial class helps place each kid at the right starting level, so even complete beginners can begin with confidence.
What do they learn in Python Start (ages 12–13)?
In Python Start (ages 12–13) kids write real Python in Visual Studio Code, build video games, and create their first GitHub portfolio. Along the way they learn variables, functions, loops, and data structures through real, hands-on projects. The course runs for 64 classes over 2 years, taught live online by a real teacher who stays with the child throughout. The free trial class helps place each student at the right level so they start exactly where they should.
Do they need prior coding experience?
No prior experience is needed for Roblox Studio — it's accessible from zero for kids aged 10–11. For Python Start we recommend having taken Roblox Studio or having equivalent experience, since it builds on those foundations. Either way, the free trial class helps us place each child at the right level before they begin. Classes are live online with a real teacher, so kids get personalized guidance from their very first session.
Can they jump from Roblox to Python directly?
Yes, jumping from Roblox to Python is the recommended path. The object-oriented programming concepts kids learn with Lua in Roblox make Python much easier to pick up, so the transition feels natural and is well-guided by a real teacher. Classes are live online, and the same teacher can support the child through the move from one language to the next. The free trial class also helps confirm the right starting point so the progression stays smooth.
How are the classes formatted?
Classes are online and live, taught by a real teacher. There are two formats to choose from: 1-on-1 individual sessions of 60 minutes (1 to 3 times per week), or a mini-group of 4 students for 90 minutes (once a week). In both cases the same teacher is assigned for the whole course, giving continuity and close tracking of progress. The free trial class lets you experience the format and place the child at the right level before enrolling.
What do they need to take the classes?
They need a computer or laptop (not a tablet for Python Start), an internet connection, and about 60 quiet minutes to focus. For Roblox Studio you just need to install the free Roblox program. Classes are live online with a real teacher, so any setup question is handled in the moment. With that basic equipment, kids can follow the whole course comfortably, whether they're building games in Roblox or writing real Python.
Can I pause the course if we travel?
Yes, you can pause the course if you travel. We let you pause for up to 3 months without losing your spot or the classes you've already paid for, so you can resume when you return. We also offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before each class and a full refund for any unused classes. This gives you complete flexibility to fit the course to your family's pace, with no risk of losing what you invested.
What course comes after Python Start?
After Python Start (12–13) comes Python Pro (14–17): Machine Learning, mobile apps, and 3D games, with professional-level projects. And if your child is younger, the path starts at Coding 6–9 (Digital Literacy + Scratch). It's a continuous progression from age 6 to 17 with real teachers.
Why choose Algonova?
Algonova is an international school with 600K+ graduates across 90+ countries and over 10 years of experience, rated 4.9★ by families. Classes are live with real teachers, the same teacher throughout the course, and your child finishes with real projects to show — not just theory.
