My son started without knowing any coding and in three months he built his own game in Scratch. Now he asks for "coding time" instead of his phone.

Leo explains with incredible patience. My son started with zero coding knowledge and in 2 months built his first game. Best of all, he asks for more classes himself.

The quality of the teachers is incredible. My daughter takes Python and the teacher patiently explains whenever she gets stuck. Mini-groups of 4 work really well.

We tried other online schools and he always got distracted. At Algonova classes are dynamic and the teacher keeps him engaged. Worth every peso.

FAQ
Everything parents ask before their child's first coding or design class.
Kids can start from age 6. The first module, Digital Literacy, is built around visual games, so they don't need to read yet or have any prior experience to begin. From there, Algonova offers learning paths for every age up to 17: coding with Scratch, Roblox and Python, plus graphic and digital design. Every class is live and online with a Spanish-speaking teacher. The free trial class also works as a diagnostic: the teacher assesses your child's level and recommends the ideal course for their age and interests.
Yes. Algonova offers a 100% free 60-minute trial class, online and with a real teacher. No credit card and no commitment are required. It isn't a theory lesson: your child builds a mini-project from day one, so you immediately see how they learn and whether they enjoy the format. The class also serves as a diagnostic to place them at the right level. You can book your spot in under a minute right from this page.
No, no prior experience is needed. The starter courses —Digital Literacy, Scratch and Junior Graphic Design— are designed for complete beginners, even kids who have never used a computer for this before. If your child already codes or designs, the free class works as a diagnostic to place them in a more advanced level, such as Python or Senior Design. In every case, the same teacher stays with your child for the whole course, adjusting the pace to their real level.
They are live online classes with a Spanish-speaking teacher —never pre-recorded videos. There are two formats: 1-on-1 individual sessions of 60 minutes (1 to 3 times a week) or a mini-group of up to 4 students for 90 minutes (once a week). In both formats the same teacher is assigned for the whole course, giving the student continuity and confidence. Every session is recorded on the Algonova platform, and each module ends with a real project that your child presents.
Only three things: a computer or tablet, an internet connection and 60 to 90 quiet minutes for the class. There's no software to install to get started, because we work directly in the browser. The platform is kid-friendly and available in Spanish. All materials —recordings, exercises and projects— stay available 24/7 on the Algonova platform, so your child can review anytime.
It depends on the course. Foundation programs (Digital Literacy, Scratch, Junior Design) run 32 classes, while advanced programs (Python Start, Python Pro) run 64 classes —about 2 years with the same teacher. Each module ends with a real project, so progress is measured by concrete results, not just hours. When the course is complete, your child receives an Algonova certificate and a digital portfolio with all their projects.
Yes. You can pause the course for up to 3 months without losing your spot or your paid classes. When you return, your child picks up exactly where they left off, with the same teacher. There's also free cancellation up to 24 hours before each class and a full refund for any unused classes. Because every session is recorded, they can review what they've covered anytime —even during the pause.
Yes. When the course is complete, your child receives an official Algonova certificate confirming the skills they've learned. On top of that, each module ends with a real project, so learning is proven through tangible results, not just a piece of paper. All those projects are gathered into a digital portfolio that stays on the platform —a great way to show, at school or later on, everything your child can do.
Nothing is lost. You can reschedule the class with up to 24 hours' notice, at no cost. Every class is also recorded on the platform, so your child can watch it later at their own pace and won't fall behind in the program. Access to Algonova is 24/7, so they can review materials, exercises and projects whenever it suits them best.
