My son started without knowing any coding and in three months he built his own game in Scratch. Now he asks for "coding time" instead of his phone.

Our mission
Andrei Lobanov — CEO & Founder · Algonova
Most children don't yet know their own strengths. They're asked to choose a path before they've had a chance to explore — pushed toward careers they haven't discovered.
We believe success is not luck. It's the result of discovering your strengths, developing them, and applying them in the world. Algonova exists to make that path real for every child.
We don't just teach coding, math, or design. We guide kids through technology — helping each one find their direction, pace, and purpose.
We help children become successful — by discovering their strengths, developing them, and helping them realize their potential.
Why Algonova
We discover talent before we teach
Free diagnostic class included
Every child starts with a free 30-min diagnostic class. Our mentors identify three natural strengths your child already has — and recommend a course that actually fits them.
We teach modern, applicable tech
Real tools, real portfolio
Not theory. Not outdated curriculum. Our students learn Python, AI tools, Roblox Studio, and modern web frameworks — the tools real developers use today. Every course ends with a real portfolio.
We back results with credentials
Cambridge-aligned · Olympiad winners

Algonova Teaching Team

Leo explains with incredible patience. My son started with zero coding knowledge and in 2 months built his first game. Best of all, he asks for more classes himself.

The quality of the teachers is incredible. My daughter takes Python and the teacher patiently explains whenever she gets stuck. Mini-groups of 4 work really well.

We tried other online schools and he always got distracted. At Algonova classes are dynamic and the teacher keeps him engaged. Worth every peso.

FAQ
Algonova is an international tech school for kids and teens aged 6 to 18 that teaches coding, mathematics, and design through an interactive, project-based method. Founded in 2016, it was born from the conviction that every child deserves high-quality education in future-ready skills — regardless of geographic location or family economic background. Our mission: open access to world-class technology and math education for children across Latin America, from kindergarten to high school. We believe coding and logical thinking are the basic literacy of the 21st century, as important as reading and writing. Algonova supports families across the region through live classes in small groups with certified teachers. Our long-term vision: that every child can create with technology, not just consume it.
Loose exercises, no projects
Depends on family control
The child advances alone, unguided
Open platforms, less supervision
Little or no individual follow-up
Algonova serves children and teens aged 5 to 18, with a curriculum tailored to each age group and school level. Every learning track is designed considering attention span, cognitive development, and the interests typical of each age. For the youngest (ages 5 to 7) we offer visual coding with ScratchJr and a fun introduction to math. For kids aged 8 to 12, the program includes Scratch, Roblox, Python Start, and math. For teens aged 13 to 15, the focus is Python, JavaScript, and web development. For ages 16 to 18, courses in artificial intelligence, full-stack development, and a university portfolio. The free trial class determines the best starting point for your child based on age, level, and interests.
Yes. All Algonova teachers are certified and go through a rigorous selection process before joining. Minimum requirements: a university degree in a related field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or education), at least 2 years of teaching experience, and passing Algonova's technical and pedagogical tests. Beyond formal training, our teachers receive specific training to teach kids online — techniques to build the child's confidence, keep engagement in virtual classes, and adapt the method to different learning styles. We also run regular performance reviews based on parent feedback, child progress, and class observation. Many of our mentors have additional experience: former engineers at tech companies, medallists in math or informatics olympiads, and educators with a track record in international schools. We're happy to introduce your child's teacher before the first class.
Algonova's free trial class is simple and no-commitment. The process has three steps: contact us via WhatsApp or the website form, our team schedules a session matched to the program of interest and the child's age (30 to 90 minutes depending on age), and the child joins a live class with a certified teacher. During the trial class, your child tries the Algonova platform directly, interacts with the teacher, and completes a first project matched to their age — typically a simple animation for younger kids, or a first Python program for teens. Real experience says far more than any explanation. After the session, we give you a learning-path recommendation and a transparent explanation of the program, schedule, and pricing. No pressure to enroll. No credit card. Many families need a few days to decide, and that's perfectly fine.
Algonova classes in Latin America are 100% online and live, taught by certified teachers. This format is flexible and safe: your child learns from home, with no commute, in small groups of up to 8 students with real-time interaction. The Algonova platform runs directly in the browser, with no special software to install. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and the desire to create. The online format lets families in any city or country in the region access the same teaching quality, with schedules that fit each family's routine.
Algonova classes in Latin America are available in Spanish (default) and English. The language of instruction is chosen based on family needs and preferences, as well as the child's school type (national, bilingual, or international). For Spanish-speaking families or kids in national schools, Spanish classes ensure the child absorbs concepts optimally. Materials, exercises, and teacher communication are all in Spanish. For kids in international or bilingual schools, English classes are available with bilingual teachers. This format also helps your child become familiar with English technical terminology, very useful for a global tech career. The language can be changed as needed; our team helps you choose during the free trial class.
Children's privacy and data security are Algonova's highest priority. We comply with local personal-data protection laws (such as Mexico's LFPDPPP) and apply the international COPPA standard to protect the data of children under 13. The data we collect is minimal and only what's needed to run classes: name, age, school grade, and learning progress. It is not shared with third parties, not sold, and not used for advertising. All data is encrypted and stored on secure servers with strict access controls. During online classes we apply a clear safety policy: no child is left alone with outsiders (all classes are supervised), recordings are for internal review only, and teacher-family communication goes through Algonova's official channels. Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time.
Algonova differs from traditional coding schools or tutoring in four key ways. First, group size: a maximum of 8 kids per class, versus the 20 to 40 of many academies — each child gets far more teacher attention. Second, teaching quality: all teachers are certified, many with tech-industry experience or as olympiad medallists — unlike centers that often rely on students or part-time teachers without consistent standards. Third, real project-based learning: the child finishes every program with a concrete portfolio (a game, an animation, a website, or a working Python program) — not just theoretical knowledge to pass an exam. Fourth, full transparency: the Algonova platform tracks the child's progress in detail and parents can view it anytime. Clear pricing, no surprise costs, and a no-commitment free trial class.
