How Roblox Studio Works

Roblox Studio works in two layers. First, a child builds the 3D world visually — placing blocks (parts), shaping terrain, and arranging objects like buildings or obstacles. A simple example: a child builds an "obby" (obstacle course) arena, then adds a Lua script so players jump higher when they step on a red button, and invites friends to try it. Once finished, the game can be published straight to Roblox — a platform with more than 70 million daily active players — so the child's creation is genuinely played by others.
