Its pricing page lists three tiers: Padawan at RM465 a month for one pillar (120 booking hours and 3 courses), Knight at RM725 a month for two pillars (240 hours, 6 courses), and Master at RM1,029 a month for all three (360 hours, 9 courses). Each is paid over 12, 24 or 36 months at 0% interest, and Kidocode calculates the effective rate at roughly RM69 to RM93 an hour. The Padawan tier at 24 months comes to RM11,152 in total. So the fee question is really a commitment question. Kidocode's structure gives you a lower hourly rate and a refund window in exchange for a 12 to 36 month contract. Ours asks for no contract, and you can stop after any month. Neither model is better in the abstract. It depends on how confident you are that your child will stay with it for two years.

Kidocode or Algonova for math

This used to be the clearest gap between the two schools, and it no longer is. As of 2026 Kidocode runs math as one of its three pillars, aligned to IGCSE, IB, Singapore Math and KSSR/KSSM, with an AI tutor for each student. If you read a comparison written before 2026 that calls Kidocode's math thin, that comparison is out of date.

The difference now is delivery. Kidocode leans on its platform and its AI tutor to adapt to each child's pace. Where Algonova is genuinely different

A table flattens things, so here is the nuance behind the rows that matter.

The group formats are not the same. Kidocode publishes classes of up to 10 students per trainer and opens breakout rooms for 1-to-1 work when a child needs it. Algonova sells the smaller formats outright: you can buy a private 1-on-1 lesson or a mini group of 2 to 4 as your standing format, not as an occasional accommodation. For a seven year old, or a child who goes quiet in a group of ten, that is the whole decision.

English is not a gate. Kidocode requires a child to read and write English before the trial, which is reasonable given its platform. Algonova teaches in Malay as well, so a child who is still building English confidence can start now rather than wait.

Kidocode in Petaling Jaya, Penang and online

A lot of parents searching for this comparison are really asking where each school physically is. Kidocode lists five campuses. Solaris Mont Kiara in Kuala Lumpur is the flagship and the default location for KL trials. Sunway Nexis in Kota Damansara serves Petaling Jaya. In Penang there are three: Q2 Waterfront in Bayan Lepas, which is the default for Penang trials, Tanjung Tokong in the north, and Icon City in Bukit Mertajam on the mainland. Same curriculum at each, so parents pick on convenience.

Algonova does not run a campus in Petaling Jaya or Penang. Our classes are live online, with one studio in Seremban.
