International tech school for kids and teens in Malaysia
Algonova is an online tech school for children and teens aged 6–17, teaching coding, math, and design in live small-group classes — in English and Malay.
10+ years · 600K+ alumni · 90+ countries.
Most children don't yet know their own strengths. They're asked to choose a path before they've had a chance to explore — pushed toward careers they haven't discovered.
We believe success is not luck. It's the result of discovering your strengths, developing them, and applying them in the world.
Algonova exists to make that path real for every child — from their first lesson to their first real project.
For 10+ years and 600K+ students across 90+ countries, that has been our single goal: to make children successful.
Why Algonova
Why families in Malaysia choose Algonova
We discover talent before we teach
Free 30-min diagnostic class
Every child starts with a free 30-minute diagnostic class. Our mentors identify the natural strengths your child already has — and recommend a course that actually fits them.
We teach modern, applicable tech
Real tools, real portfolio
Not theory, not an outdated syllabus. Students learn Python, AI tools, Roblox Studio, and modern web frameworks — the tools real developers use today. Every course ends with a real portfolio.
We back results with credentials
Cambridge-aligned · Olympiad winners
A Cambridge-aligned methodology, adapted to the Malaysian curriculum, and a 2025 International Python Olympiad Silver Medal won by Algonova students.
Our approach
Built on a methodology, not on lesson plans
Developed over 10+ years and hundreds of thousands of student outcomes — Cambridge-aligned and adapted to the Malaysian curriculum.
01
Cambridge-aligned structure
Academic rigour from day one. Our curriculum maps to Cambridge Assessment International Education standards across every course.
02
Project-based learning
Every lesson ends with something built — not just learned. Students leave each class with real work to show.
03
Individual learning trajectories
Each child progresses at their own pace. Our platform tracks progress and adjusts the path as your child grows.
04
3-in-1 platform
Smart task book, project environment, and student community — all in one place. No switching between apps.
One platform. Everything your child needs — from first lesson to first portfolio.
Smart task book
Auto-graded exercises with instant, personalised feedback. Students always know exactly where they stand and what to work on next.
Project environment
Students build, save, and present their work inside the platform. Every course ends with a real project — games, apps, AI bots, designs.
Community
Hall of Fame, peer projects, and monthly contests in a safe, moderated space. Kids see what others build — and get inspired to go further.
Child safety
How we protect your child
Every session, every mentor, every message — designed for children's safety first.
Safe learning space
Closed online classrooms — no public access. Only enrolled students and certified mentors join sessions. Students communicate inside our platform only — no unmoderated external messaging or private chats with strangers.
Certified mentors
Every mentor passes a background check, completes Algonova's certification programme, and is supervised by senior staff before working with students.
Data protection
We comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and the international COPPA standard. Children's data is encrypted, never sold, and parents can request deletion at any time.

What parents in Malaysia say
Real stories from Algonova families
Our 9-year-old struggled to focus on anything technical — Scratch programming with Algonova changed that completely. Within 2 months he was showing us his game mechanics with such pride. The Sunway Giza location is incredibly convenient for us in Damansara.
Mei Ling Tan
Parent of Aidan (9), Damansara Perdana
My daughter (12) joined the Python course after a friend recommended Algonova. The tutor is patient and the projects feel real — she's already pushing code to GitHub. Better than any tuition we tried before.
Hafiz Ibrahim
Parent of Nur Adriana (12), Subang Jaya
We chose Algonova for the online flexibility — we live in Bangsar and the schedule fits our working hours. The 1-on-1 format means our son gets full attention. Worth every minute.
Priya Krishnan
Parent of Arjun (11), Bangsar
Math Junior helped our 7-year-old build real number sense — not just memorising answers. The tutor adjusts the pace to him. We tried two other tuitions before this; Algonova is the one that stuck.
Sarah Wong
Parent of Ethan (7), Mont Kiara
My 10-year-old discovered Roblox Studio through Algonova. He now builds 3D worlds in his free time. Cikgu Ibnu introduced Lua scripting at exactly the right pace — patient but never holding him back.
Lim Boon Hwa
Parent of Marcus (10), Cheras
Honest, transparent, and they actually deliver. The module-refund policy gave us confidence to try. Two years in, our daughter is now pushing real Python projects to GitHub — a head start for university applications.
Algonova is an international online tech school for kids and teens aged 6–17, teaching coding, math, and design through live, project-based classes. Our mission: give every child in Malaysia world-class, future-ready skills — so they create with technology, not just consume it.
What ages does Algonova teach?
Algonova teaches children and teens aged 6 to 17. Younger kids start with visual coding and math; older students move to Python, web development, and AI. The free trial class determines the best starting point for your child by age, level, and interests.
Are Algonova teachers certified and experienced?
Yes. Every teacher holds a relevant degree, has teaching experience, passes Algonova's technical and pedagogical tests, and is trained to teach kids online. We're happy to introduce your child's teacher before the first class.
How does the free trial class work?
Book through our website, and we schedule a live 30-minute session matched to your child's age. Your child meets a certified teacher, tries the platform, and builds a first project. Afterwards we recommend a learning path — no credit card, no pressure to enrol.
Are classes online or offline?
Classes are 100% online and live. Your child joins small groups of up to 6 students from anywhere in Malaysia — Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, or beyond — using just a laptop and internet. No travel, no commute.
What language are classes taught in?
Classes are taught in English and Malay. You choose the language your child is most comfortable with, and our certified teachers adapt to keep every lesson clear and engaging.
How does Algonova protect my child's data and safety?
Classes run in closed, moderated online classrooms with certified mentors only. We comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and the international COPPA standard. Children's data is encrypted, never sold, and parents can request deletion anytime.
How is Algonova different from apps and other academies?
Algonova combines live small-group classes (up to 6), a Cambridge-aligned curriculum, and a real portfolio — not solo app exercises or large recorded lessons. Every child gets a dedicated teacher, an age-adapted plan, and progress tracking in every class.
