PARENTS' CHOICE

What Malaysian families say about Algonova

Our 9-year-old struggled to focus on anything technical — Scratch programming with Algonova changed that completely. Within 2 months he was showing us his game mechanics with such pride. The Sunway Giza location is incredibly convenient for us in Damansara.

Mei Ling Tan

Mei Ling Tan

Parent of Aidan (9), Damansara Perdana

My daughter (12) joined the Python course after a friend recommended Algonova. The tutor is patient and the projects feel real — she's already pushing code to GitHub. Better than any tuition we tried before.

Hafiz Ibrahim

Parent of Nur Adriana (12), Subang Jaya

We chose Algonova for the online flexibility — we live in Bangsar and the schedule fits our working hours. The 1-on-1 format means our son gets full attention. Worth every minute.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Simple answers to the questions parents ask most about online coding and math classes for kids in Malaysia.

What is the minimum age for online coding classes for kids?

Children can start learning coding from age 6. The approach changes by age group: kids aged 6–7 begin with Digital Literacy (mouse, keyboard, AI tools), ages 8–11 progress to Visual Programming with Scratch, ages 10–12 move to Game Design with Roblox + Lua, and ages 12+ learn real Python with VSCode and GitHub. No prior experience needed.

Is there a free trial class for online coding and math courses?

Yes! The free trial covers both online coding classes and online math classes for kids. It lasts 60 minutes, no commitment, no sales pressure — we just show how we teach and what fits your child best.

How long is one coding programme for kids?

It depends on the level. Digital Literacy is 36 sessions, Visual Programming (Scratch) is 36 sessions, Game Design (Roblox) is 36 sessions, Python Year I is 36 sessions, Python Year II is 32 sessions, Math Junior is 64 sessions. After one level, students continue to the next.

Are the coding classes online?

Yes — all our coding courses for kids are available fully online with live sessions and real teachers (not pre-recorded videos). We also have an offline study centre at Sunway Giza Mall, Petaling Jaya. You can choose whichever format works best for your family.

Where is the offline class location in Malaysia?

Our offline centre is at Unit C-3A-1, Sunway Giza Mall, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Online classes are available from anywhere in Malaysia — KL, Penang, Johor Bahru, and beyond.

Is there a certificate after completing a course?

Yes. Students receive an official certificate after completing each programme level.

What are the benefits of coding for kids?

Coding teaches kids logic, problem-solving, and creativity. Kids who start learning coding from an early age have a clear advantage for IT careers and any future profession that requires digital skills.

What if my child cannot attend one lesson?

For online group classes, students may watch a recording or join another session if available. For private lessons, the session is usually rescheduled. Please inform the teacher in advance so we can arrange the best solution.

Do you offer 1-on-1 or group classes?

Both. Private 1-on-1 sessions are 60 minutes (most popular). Group classes are 90 minutes with only 4–5 students per class — much smaller than typical Malaysian tuition centres.
